Who we are

Conversion EG is a heating and MEP contractor based at 52 Makram Ebeid Street, Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt. We are responsible for the personal details described on this page.

What we collect

• Through the contact form: your name and phone number, and, if you choose to give them, your email address, the service you are interested in and your project details.
• When you call, message us on WhatsApp or email us: whatever you choose to share. WhatsApp messages are also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.
• To keep spam out, the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks signals from your browser and your IP address. Our server also counts recent sending attempts to stop floods of messages; the counts are stored under a scrambled code (a hash), not under your IP address.
• If you press “Show the map” on the contact page, the map loads from Google Maps, so Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy. Nothing is sent to Google unless you press it.
• Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, page requested and time) to run the site securely.

What we don’t collect

We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our cookie policy lists the little the site stores in your browser.

How we use your details

• To reply to your enquiry and call you back.
• To arrange a site visit, prepare a proposal and carry out the work you ask for.
• To service and maintain your system afterwards, if you are our customer.

Who sees them

The contact form sends your message by email to our office inbox, where only our team uses it. We do not sell your details or pass them to others for their marketing. The services that help run the site (our hosting provider and Cloudflare’s spam check) process data only to provide that service.

How long we keep them

We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to reply and follow up. If you become a customer, we keep your contact and project details for as long as we install and maintain your system, and as long as the law requires for our business records.

Your choices

You can ask us what details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them, and we will do so unless we have to keep them by law. These are also your rights under Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (No. 151 of 2020).

Keeping them safe

The whole site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and the contact form is protected against bots and floods of messages. No way of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please don’t send sensitive documents through the form.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
