Design
1. Will you calculate the heat load room by room? A good company visits, measures and sizes from the result. A price per metre over the phone is a guess.
2. Why this system for my home? You should hear reasons tied to your home: gas or no gas, floors, how you use each room, not a single system offered to everyone.
3. How many zones and thermostats, and why? The answer shows whether they have thought about how you live.
Equipment
4. Which brands and models, exactly? A proper quote names the boiler or heat pump, radiators, pipe and controls, so you can compare quotes like for like.
5. Who supplies spare parts later? Ask whether they service the equipment they install, and whether parts for those brands are available in Egypt.
Installation
6. Who does the installation: your own team or subcontractors? One team from design to maintenance means one party responsible.
7. Will the pipework be pressure-tested before walls and floors are closed? This single step prevents the most expensive problems.
8. How will the system be commissioned? Filling, water treatment, balancing and setting up the controls should be part of the job, not left to settle.
After handover
9. What warranty do you give, on what, and against what? Ask what is covered (equipment, pipework, installation work), for how long, from when, and what is excluded. A long number means little without that detail.
10. Who maintains it afterwards? Heating needs a yearly service. A company that installs and maintains has every reason to install it well.
